Vegan "Cheddar"
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Cashews
- 1/3 Cup Nutritional Yeast
- 2 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
- 2 Tsp Salt
- 5 Tsp Agar Agar Powder
- 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 1/4 Cup Water
Instructions
- Soak cashews overnight (or in boiling water for 1 hour).
- Add soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, turmeric, salt and lemon juice in a blender.
- In a small pot boil water then add agar agar powder mixing until agar agar powder is completely dissolved then add to blender.
- Blend until smooth then add to small glass bowl lined with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. 5. Enjoy!
